FAmine spreads to Lalibela
As the government reclaims Lalibela, Shum Shiha and other cities in the northern regions, famine spreads and is expected to increase as people return to their homes. Making the Grade is on the ground and providing food in camps for displaced people, in Lalibela, and Shum Shiha as people return to their homes.
Pregnant women, lactating women, children and people with disabilities are first on the list to receive food. The church is distributing for us.
Each full truck of food delivered costs 20 K. We have been able to feed around 400 people with a partially filled truck, and need your donations to send more food. Please consider helping people that are starving.
The food distribution has been and will be carried out by the church.
