Nitsu improves hygiene in Ethiopia by providing showers, toilets, reusable sanitary products, soap, and hygiene education, boosting health and school attendance.
HEALTH SERVICES
Young people in Ethiopia suffer from a wide range of ailments; some easily treatable as well as others requiring extensive surgical intervention.
We provide medical care for our students, their families and other medical grant recipients.

- Surgeries for TB of the Spine and Rheumatic Heart Disease.
- Services for students that have suffered strokes and various conditions that require intervention.
- Life-saving surgeries for children with Down Syndrome.

The NITSU Project- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Hygiene services including showers with running water, clean toilets, feminine hygiene products are scarce in Ethiopia. We provide access to all services and items related to good hygiene that ultimately leads to higher school attendance.
