My name is Aschalew Tesfaye, and I was born and raised in Sodo City, Wolaita Zone. I graduated from Arbaminch University with Hydraulic Engineering, and I currently work as a consultant and supervising engineer at Gununo Hamus City Municipality. Throughout my career, I have been involved in various consulting and supervisory roles, including projects related to schools, offices, roads, water drainage systems, water distribution systems, and design. Despite my professional pursuits, my childhood dream has always been to help those in need. To fulfill this aspiration, I have engaged in charity work with organizations like Making the Grade Hope for African Youth and Chosen Generation. As a part of these initiatives, I have delivered materials provided by MTGs to street children, and I have also provided support to visually impaired students by monitoring their progress and encouraging their studies. Additionally, I have been actively involved in the construction of a shower house that aims to benefit visually impaired students. This project not only intends to provide them with a much-needed facility but also seeks to generate income for these students. With the blessings and guidance of God, I dream of expanding and improving upon this work in the future, allowing me to make a greater positive impact on the lives of others.
