At Making The Grade, we currently support 73 students across all levels, from primary to university. We provide essential supplies, tuition assistance, and tutoring. Our program also empowers students with disabilities, including a Braille initiative for the blind in Soddo. Every student sponsored by MTG has succeeded, with all passing their exams and several advancing to high school.
Since 2021, MTG's Esther Project has uplifted young women by teaching entrepreneurship, self-confidence, and career skills, addressing challenges they face.
Le'lswa empowers high-achieving Ethiopian young women, building on our proven programs to create lasting impact.
Gojjo ensures safe housing and basic needs for our students, enabling them to focus on their education and health.
Nitsu provides vital sanitation facilities for visually impaired students at Ligeba Beyene school, fostering independence and income opportunities.
What began as a thoughtful way to help children living on the streets has blossomed into one of our most successful programs! Every year MTG and volunteers bring countless donated suitcases filled with school supplies and clothing that we distribute to the orphaned children living on the streets.
Making the Grade partnered with MCN Build to build and maintain a digital school and library outside of Lalibela, Ethiopia. Each computer is loaded with 16,000 books. This year we are bringing fiber optic cable up to the library to allow internet access.

In collaboration with the Deborah Foundation, Rotary, and Ethiopian Airlines, we're providing vital medical surgeries for children with Down syndrome and heart conditions. Seven young patients are scheduled for life-changing surgeries at Amrita Hospital this winter. Our efforts also include educational support, empowering girls, and aiding families with housing and nutrition. Join us in making a difference—your donation can save a life.
